I just got this deiffenbachia(Dumb Cane) off of clearance, and it had a lot of brown on the leaves. I chopped bad leaves away and looked for any sign of spider mites, thrips, or mealybugs but didn’t see any. The first pic is before a cleaned it up, and the second after. I think the pot might be too big, but I’m unsure if it mattered enough to stress out the plant by reporting. And how much water do they like? Any other advice and/or tips would be greatly appreciated!
I have an elephant ear bulb that appears to be dead. It was planted in fresh soil. I will be receiving a replacement. Can I plant it in the same soil?
Does anyone know a good place to buy plants that are not super expensive? Any place I look everything is a lot of money and the shipping is crazy!
⚠️⚠️Can a LED light substitute a grow light?? I’ve heard some people say that it works the same. I have my carnivorous plants inside and people say I need a grow light if there inside will led work?⚠️⚠️

Hi all, Fairly new to keeping plants - I am starting off with two easy ones and I am big on herbs - Basil and Coriander. I am going to have to leave them on their own due to a family trip coming up and was wondering what I can do re watering them? Sadly no one can get in to my flat to help me out and I can’t leave water running. Are there any tips out there that you’ve tried and tested (with great results)? Thank you in advance!

Can anyone help me identify these plants? I bought them at a local market and forgot to ask the plant supplier for their names. Each time I try the scanner within the app, it gives me a different name for each plant. I’m thinking the first one is a (silver) Chinese Evergreen, the second one is a species of rubber tree, and the small one in the tiny cup is maybe a pink princess.
Can the chicks be saved when the hen dies? It’s kinda mushy..

Does anyone go in between houses bc of parents? I have plants at both houses but my plants at my moms need more maintenance then my dads. But I’ll looking into getting more plants at my dads. Any idea for not killing them when I leave for a week back and forth Moms- prayer plant, nerve plant, bunny wear cactus, 5 carnivorous plants, some succulents and a ficus pumila var. quercifolia Dads- bunny eat cactus, christmas aloe and succulents
