Can anyone else relate? Lol 😂 Being a plant person has really made me work on my patience 😅
My son brought me home this plant on Mother’s Day from school, I’m not sure what it is, I thought a flower but maybe not.. any ideas?!?!
I was wondering what type of plants these are. I don’t know if the little guy is the same one as the other.
Okay so I’m a very new plant mom so i don’t really know anything about any of my plants lol. I’ve had them all for about 2-3 months now. Most of them I bought for really cheap from someone who hadn’t taken good care of them and they are looking so much better now. So it’s embarrassing that the plant i’m having issues with are my aloe plants 😂 I have two and i think the issue was I was overwatering the first one. So I didn’t water it for like a month and a half and the color still isn’t quite coming back to what it was. Any suggestions?
Is this a new baby ?
Got around to treating this little lucky bamboo victim of neglect. Anyone else hate the way big box stores just glue down all the little rocks? Cleaned him up and gave him a new pot. Filled the bottom with large river rocks, then clay beads around the roots and cactus soil on top... layered with sand on top and jade rocks. Gave him a nice cold soft shower (Learned this technique in Hawaii this summer! Hope it works!) anyone have any tips?
I was so worried about my Golden Goddess’s leaf issues that I missed this beauty..
Saw this on a hike. Anyone know what this is? Leaves with horns!!
Anyone know what’s happening to my mother-in-law’s tongue (snake plant)? It had a baby coming out to the side and I pulled it off and gave it to a friend but a week or so ago these little sprouts came in the middle.
Hi friends! I was going to repot my monstera and heard they like to climb. Any suggestions on moss poles or what to do? Thanks!
Hello everyone, I have a huge gnat problem and idk what to do???? Any recommendations?
So a friend bought me this dwarf fiddle leaf plant and had it shipped to me. I have not done anything to it besides remove it from the box, water it and spray it and clean off the leaves. Two leaves fell off this Am, I saw some small brown spots under one of the leaves, and 3-4 leaves that looks like it is drying out. I need some help because I heard about how sensitive this plant is and I want it to live past this week.
Hi everyone! I have this dark mystery pilea plant that I’m not sure how to take care of. I’ve had her for a few weeks but I don’t know if she’s improving or declining. Does anyone know the warning signs for these guys?
Recently got into gardening and this is my nursery corner :) Any tips about my setup that needs tweaking? (I have a grow light and indirect sunlight hitting everything all the plants during the day)
Okay friends!!! I’m curious if any of you have used rabbit poop as fertilizer for your houseplants? How did it go? I’m a bunny mom of 2 and have lots of spare poop. It works great in my veggie & herb gardens, but curious if there are downsides to the extra nitrogen for houseplants.
Birthday rescues update: The corn plant and bromeliad had completely rotten roots and the aglaonema was stuck in a cage and had a lot of unhappy growth, but hopefully everyone is on the mend now! That croton 🤩
New foliage on my Alocasia 😍
Is he having a baby?! 👀 I brought him home last Friday, cleaned him up and now this! do you guys keep the flowers or cut them off? The internet is divided and I didn't even know these could have flowers!
Will Potentilla indica grow in terrariums?
Yesterday I learned that it’s not always minerals on the outside of my terra cotta pots, it’s mold (if it wipes off easy, it’s mold. If not, crust). I sprayed the outside of the pots with hydrogen peroxide and scrubbed to clean them up. Didn’t have to remove the plants. So I realized I needed a fan for the room (since the nearby vents are closed to force cold air upstairs) and the babies are far away from the ceiling fan. Also, I’ve been overwatering a tad. Perhaps I’ll pick up some tampons tomorrow cause I go a few weeks without watering, or is that normal? I’ve got a moisture meter and I do the knitting needle trick that Tanner the Planter does. I do have a grow light on one group and I have been opening the shades so they get some extra light.
