Has anybody tried using a macrame hanger instead of a moss pole for you aroids? I think moss poles and trellises take away from the jungle vibe. If you saturate the hanger with water and nutrients, will the aerial grab on and continue climbing?

Can anyone tell me what this is? Planta ID'd this as a striped dracaena but I'm not so sure... just want to make sure I'm giving proper care. It's pretty healthy but I've had it for a few years now and it hasn't grown at all.

🤓Today I learned something new! I mad science geeked out on testing and adjusting my LA tap water PH levels to around 5.5-6 PH which is more acidic and what most houseplants prefer (previously about 7.5-8 PH which is too alkaline for most houseplants. Just got the basic water testing kit along with PH up & PH down solutions on Amazon. I learned that unless the PH of your water is correct for your plants, they are unable to take in nutrients from fertilizers and this could lead to fertilizer burn or just starve your plant. So by adjusting the PH of all my tap water i will soon see new healthier bigger growth! Since I am mid-process of shifting a lot of my indoor collection to Pon semi-hydro, making the water solution right is super important to me. I also found out about a new water purifying product that I am now testing out for the foreseeable future called API stress coat, (made for fish tanks) which apparently just adding a drop or two to each gallon of tap water will remove the heavy metals and chlorine and clorimine from it, making it safe to use as an alternative to buying purified water for my more sensitive plants (specifically Calathea, maidenhair ferns & carnivorous plants). We will see if it works as well as the you-tuber i watched and learned from… he seemed to think it was a miracle thing for all of his plants! I will update you all on this in maybe a month!
So this was on my ppp I need help would I repot it or put it in water???
My longest living house plant about 2 years strong 🌱. Just figured out what type of plant she is and learning how to take better care for Beauty 🪴.
So rootbound :((
Propped this SOP successfully but should I curl it up near the soil so it can root and grow more stems or let it keep growing off the side
Can anyone help me identify this plant? I’ve had it for about 6 years and it’s never really grown, until recently when I added more plant friends and she’s near her plant buddies.
Does anyone know what type of succulent this is? I got it unlabeled at Home Depot and I can’t figure it out :/
I’m very nervous. My Thai constellation node has outgrown its cloche so it now has to go into the real world. I put it near humidifier and grow lights. My fingers are crossed. Also excited to see action from my monstera albo node.
How do you keep gnats from around your plants? They aren’t so bad on some other plants. I went to check on this one and it had a lot of them flying around it. That is the moss that came with the plant. Thanks in advance.
Anyone know what this is?
Are there any plants that are great for low shade parts of a room? I want to put some plants in my room but there isn’t to much light where I want to put them. Any suggestions?!
Got this ficus for free from work, gonna try and fix her up before I sell her, also considering repotting my alocasia for corms.
