How would you categorize light in this room for the shelves where my plants are? When I take readings with the light meter is says part sun part shade but I don't think direct sunlight ever hits those shelves This is a south facing window
I recently went on a 2 week trip and came back to my orchid slightly wilted. I watered it right before leaving and as soon as I got back home. Is there anything I can do to make it healthy again?
So I bought 3 spider plant clippings and they arrived like 2 weeks ago or so now. I quarantined them the first week by themselves, checked for pest and everything. I repotted in a self watering planter this passed Monday and the leaves are starting to turn brown and black. I’m worried about her. Is she getting to much water? Should I change the pot? Not enough light or to much light? Please help
Do you guys think I could successfully remove this mushroom and put it in a little terrarium? 🥹 These are unrooted cuttings that I just watered. 🙂
Hi!! I recently planted Coleus seeds ((this is the starter pot they can with)) and was look for some insight about if and when I should repot them. I feel like they’re getting a little crowded with varying heights, should I separate them into different pots? All thoughts are welcome! :) I also have a grow light coming in to help with better light distribution

Someone repotted these plants before giving them to me. The plants are not too big but I don’t want to shock them by repotting them again but I’m worried that the container may be too big or the soil may not dry out fast enough. Will they be ok in these pots? Should I water less often since they don’t need to be watered as often? Help please 😭 lol
I’m moving in August, and taking these plants with me. Does anyone have any tips on how to move them with the least amount of disturbance?? They’ll be going on a 3 hour drive. My calathea had spider mites around 2 months ago but is being treated regularly and i have not seen any mites since. I also have a fern bonsai and Alocasia corm that fairly delicate. Any tips are appreciated!

In anyone’s experience, has scindapsus (specifically treubii) grown slow for you all compared to other plants? I’ve had one for about 6 months now and it’s just now pushing out one leaf…it gets lots of east facing sun and I water it whenever the soil is getting dry using a moisture meter and finger check.

Any split leaf thaumatophyllum experts out there? This guy was gorgeous when I bought him two years ago (bigger) and by this spring looked almost dead (just a few leaves and so small and not split). Now he’s really perking up outside in the humidity. Any tips to keep him going strong when he has to come in for the fall/winter?
