I planted milkweed, in a pot, on my balcony to attract butterflies. Am I supposed to do anything else (buy the caterpillars) or just wait and see?
The newest leaf is huge!! And split (I don’t know the name of the holes) so perfectly!! The prior leaf didn’t have any, and the one before only had 1. The smaller leaves are from how I bought it. What causes or helps that happen? It’s doing so good!! Should I put it in a bigger pot?
Ok sorry to be “that guy” or whatever — but it’s happening near-constantly so: friendly reminder/PSA that you should be choosing ***ONE SINGLE GROUP that best fits your question/problem/etc and not posting the same content across multiple channels***. It clogs up the feed and makes the experience here less fun. Please be mindful!! 🧘 😊💚
Any help would be amazing!! Used to be by the window and started going bad so moved it away and still not getting better. Thanks Not good with names of plants either very new to all of this

Any advice for my peace lily? Is it normal to droop? I’ve had her for a year.
Can’t help myself…..
HELP! I bought her a week or two ago and repotted her in a smaller pot. (not the one in the picture. Did a smaller terracotta.) Picture of roots was day of repotting from nursery pot and then I watered her with “purived house plant food” And cleaned her leafs with “big leaf energy” and she started falling apart a couple days later. What do I do?
I took home a peace lily plant from my Grandmas funeral today. I would love to be able to propagate it, and give it to all of her kids. But I have no idea what to do. Do I just take a leaf, or do I wait for a certain stem to grow and then cut it and propagate it? Any tips are appreciated. Also care tips for it an appreciated too! Thank you!! 😊
Anyone else feel like Planta’s watering schedule is suddenly like way off?? I have 35 plants and I pay pretty close attention to them, but I’ve had to water quite a few DAYS before Planta was going to tell me. And it won’t fix the algorithm after I add the water 🤦🏻♀️
Hi guys, I’m moving in 2-3 weeks, I’m wondering if my plant is already stressed or if there is something wrong with my plant. Multiple leaves snap with light pressure, this morning a new leaf fell off, some of the new leaves have holes across the middle, some leaves I just find lying in the soil the next day, I took a closer view of the roots to see that there were a bunch of black dead leaves, (small, droopy but not thick and represented thick string) I have checked for pests and I don’t see anything, some new leaves as soon as they grow out they curl in (shown in photo) I don’t know if I’m being dramatic and my plant is fine, or if my plant is the dramatic one or if there is actually something wrong with him.
My bird of paradise is unfurling its second new leaf in 4 days!
The first flower on this spider plant stalk opened up this morning!
Hi everyone! I’m new to caring for potted plants and was wondering if anyone had general advice! I have an aloe Vera plant, and this apple mint. I know aloe is a bit easier to take care of (if my mom can keep an aloe plant alive for years, I’m confident I can too lol), but I’ve never cared for mint, and I’ve heard they can be trickier. It wasn’t the healthiest when I picked it up from the nursery. The roots were growing out and around the bottom of the pot and some of the leaves were damaged. I pruned and repotted it, and so far the mint is looking a lot healthier! I have a few concerns about the one long stem with the large curve and slight browning, but the leaves on it are still bright and it still seems strong. Any suggestions are welcome!! (And yes, I did drill drainage holes into the bottom of my pot :) )
