I’m so confused!! It’s in a well lit area,i water it once the soil is dry and I make sure because I stick my finger down into it to make sure. What is going on!!

I have a peace lily as well and find she does better if I don’t let her dry out. Peace lilies need consistently moist soil, but they also don't like to sit in standing water. It can be a delicate balance to strike. When the top inch or two of soil is dry, that’s when I know it’s time to water. Watch her leaves too, my girl goes droopy if I’m late watering but she perks right up after a good soaking. Wishing you luck and patience! Getting to know our plant’s needs can be a process but hang in there!
4 Mi piaceSame thing happened with mine, and I read that it could be not enough humidity in the area as well. So it was suggested that I mist the leaves once or twice a week with a spray bottle. It’s been working so far but I did cut the dried up flower to avoid it taking energy from the other leaves and flowers.
0 Mi piaceDid you use scissors to snip of the flower end or did you completely remove the stem of the flower? And I may start doing that once a week as I don’t think the humidity in my room is that high. Thank you !
