Silly question, but I’m trying to propagate my snake plant for a friend, but what happens to the bottom part of the original snake plant that was cut? Will it rot if I don’t remove it or can I leave it as is? Thanks!

LinaLeave it! It will callus over, no rot! It will also remain the shape you cut it :-)

John G AmeroI agree, leave it. Now if you really want it to rot out then let me know. I’m really good at killing Snake Plants. 😞😉 The snake plant in the photo used to be WAY BIGGER. So much keeps dying on me. ☹️
