   You can grow them inside with the proper lighting, humidity, water and fertilizer. They can take morning light. But, they need some filtered shade from the midday sun. I grew mine outside. Leaves and stems died back in colder weather. I protected the pot from 4 days of snow with wool blankets. I’m in zone 9a, Texas gulf coast.
