Next week I am going on vacation for 16 days. I am setting up an irrigation system for my plants ๐Ÿคž. Do you think I should pot these two before I leave or leave them in water?

I would pot them up. The water would most likely be half gone in the time you're away. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I would leave them so you can be there to help when they transition from water to soil, if not they might dry out too quickly

Put them in a large wide container of water. Tape/attach it to cork or something that floats so that the roots are always under water as the water dries out. Add a little fertilizer to the water. Putting them in soil will mean 16 days between watering. They will be dead before you return.

I never thought of using cork, what an interesting idea! I do have a watering system in place for my plants while I will be gone. That isnโ€™t full proof but it could be watered. Unfortunately I was thinking about travels when I started these two.
