    check bob's roots. are you in the northern or southern hemisphere? if it's cold out where you are right now, it's probably in a dormant period. if not, check your humidity levels and try fertilizing. also check for any pests or fungus while you're at it. bob may be focusing on expanding his root system now that he's established leaves.

      the time of year may still affect bob's growth. plants are smarter than you think. but consider placing him near a window; some plants just don't like grow lights. grow lights and sunlight are NOT the same! many people think they are, but that's not true.

    bob might be a procrastinator? idk, i’ve never even seen a lychee tree before lol so i’m sending bob good growth energy💚 also it looks like bob is in a glass vase/jar situation — does it have drainage? i can’t tell if bob is in a nursery pot inside the glass thing, or just straight up in the glass thing

      no drainage but i dont give tons of water

      can you see any sign of roots through the glass? if yes, i would repot into something with drainage
