I found a satin pothos and pothos n’joy at a plant store a few weeks ago. Their soil was very bad so I repotted them and found out they only have maybe 2-3 inches of roots each. I decided to pot them together because alone the weight of their leaves would topple them over. I really don’t want to cut their leaves off because they are very healthy and pretty. The plant have no health problems and have started to grow many new leaves. Any tips and did I do the right thing?

    I’ve had my satin pothos for 2 years and it’s roots are also teeny weeny - I think it might just be a quirk of theirs

      i've only had mine for about 6 months and it's roots are about 7inches per cutting, i've had to repot twice! that's interesting that some have longer roots and some don't.

    looks great! usually i'd advise against touching it for a week or so to reduce the levels of shock from moving from the store to home, but it seems that these are doing just fine!! also, regular pruning will keep them full and gorgeous! you should trim them during their growing season so they start new vines. one cutting will result in two or more vines in most plants, including pothos and scindapictus (satin pothos)!! super pretty & easy picks

      Ok thank you! I feel like I really had to repot them after 3 days because their soil was super dry and it wouldn’t let water go in.
