So someone anonymously shared this on an orchid page and now I have to run home and dig for the 2 orchid branches I just snipped yesterday and put this to the test😩 my question is has anyone else had this type of luck of placing the already bloomed stem that went dormant back in water to get much more out of it ? This picture is pretty convincing

I don’t know enough about orchids, but what I do know is that little growth is called a keiki. I’ve seen them grow off of mother plants that people have applied keiki paste to. I don’t know if a cut stem can grow, but it would be really cool if they can!

I haven’t cut my stem since I got my orchid in november, should I? the stem is actively growing but I’ve only had one blossom.
