Hi plant community, I’m very new to having plants and I need a couple pointers on how to keep my monstera plant alive. It is slumping over and some of the leaves love very glossy and some are dull. Most have the traditional holes while some are not growing holes at all (I’ve also got the plant at Lowe’s 2 months ago). I really want to keep this plant alive does anyone have any pointers or suggestions?
You could keep it alive in just water if you wanted. Thirsty things. But give em regular drinks n lots of ☀️ but nothing direct or she’ll burn.

As the leaves get older they can be darker and less shiny

It takes a while for the plants to age and get big enough to need fenestrations (holes) because those exist to let light through to lower leaves. They can be slow growers, especially in winter, but they are steady! Picture is one I got about 8-9 months ago at just the two bottom leaves.
