i moved to a new house and suddenly all my indoor plants are growing mold — any ideas on how to prevent this or what’s causing it? They’re in a very well lit area (bay window) that gets morning sun but not after noon. I wouldn’t say the soil is wet though, i wait for the soil to dry out between waterings is the humidity in the room too high?
Are you sure it’s mold and not sediment? I moved to a home with well water, it leaves a white substance on the top of the soil… I was told it was from the sediments/minerals/solids in the well water. I started using reverse osmosis water and it slowly went away.

Check the humidity with a humidistat to be sure. Also may try air movement. Even a small fan may help, or ceiling fan if you have one.
좋아요 1개It might be a flowerpot parasol bloom, but if it is mold, disturb the soil and increase air flow

I agree it looks like water mineral build up. Switching water can help if it’s that. Good luck!
