I have this Christmas cactus (maybe). I got cuttings from my grandmother who got gem from her dad so the original cactus is about 75 years old. I’ve seen pictures of Christmas cacti and this one looks way too bulky to be one but that might just be because of its age. Any ideas on what type of cactus it is?

That's a queen of the night, it's also called an orchid cactus, but they have beautiful flowers so it's not that bad a mistake :)

Thank you ima pretty sure it’s an orchid cactus totally looks like one. For a while I just thought I had a weird, tall, leggy, Christmas cactus.

I think it looks nicer than a Christmas cactus. I like the bulky look.

It’s a variety of orchid cactus. The bloom will tell the variety. Most bloom during the day.
