Hey hi hello! I saved this philodendron plowmanii from the clearance section at a store. She had spider mites and has had about 3 weeks of treatment from me with no evidence of active spider mites. I haven’t seen any new growth and she has had some brown mushy looking leaves come from the base. I have gotten rid of those areas, but wanted to see if anyone in the community had thoughts on how I could help her! Thanks!!

    Plants like these will take a while to recover after spider mites infestation, it can take up to 2 months. So keep the good job of taking care of it, and eventually will thrive. I will also suggest to put it somewhere by the window where it can get indirect light and not full. Good luck 😁

    Make sure it has a well draining soil and the roots aren’t rotting. I agree that plants take a while to recover. Good luck!
