I need some more help. 😬 My string of dolphins has lost two other strands, I tried to water propagate, and propagate in soil, but both died. I have one strand left, and I really don’t want to loose it. It’s under a grow light for 12 hours a day. It’s always a little squishy and wilted. I have put the last string in the soil in hopes the pieces would propagate, but I haven’t had any luck with that. It was in a pot with no drainage and I think it wasn’t getting enough light and too much water. It has been in this pot for a while now. The roots were okay when I looked. I don’t know what else to do. Any advice appreciated. The profile picture is what it looked like when I got it. ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļø

Also maybe pin down the remaining string (I broke a paper clip in half) and mist the top every so often, just a suggestion that’s how I got mine to root

Circle it in the pot like you did before. All of those little ā€œknotā€ looking things on the stem CAN produce roots

Okay, any tips on how to fasten it down? I tried paper clips but it wouldn’t hold it down

I used Bobby pins, the wide ones used for buns & stuff. One time burried a pothos vine & just left the leaves out for photosynthesizing
