Hey plant friends! I’m wondering if it’s time to repot my ZZ plant. It’s growing well and has a few new shoots coming in (which is exciting!), but I want to make sure it has enough space to thrive. I’ve attached a picture. do you think it looks root-bound or ready for a bigger pot? Any advice on when and how to repot would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
You can tell when a plant might need repotting by looking at the bottom of the pot! And the over all health of the plant! Are the roots growing wayyy too much out of the bottom drainage holes? If so then yes! It wouldn’t hurt to repot it and refresh that soil! ZZ plants in my experience don’t might being a little root bound so if they’re sticking out just barely then I think it’s okay to hold off on it! If it’s pushing out new shoots like that I’m sure it means you’re doing everything correctly and it’s happy! These bad boys are very sturdy and honestly thrive off a little neglect 😂

Also I can tell by when I water if it just flows through the pot or not
