Any plant recommendations for my new plant balcony??? Here are a few things I would like for my new plants | | V - It would be great if I don’t have them already I have, a Chinese money plant, rubber plant, bird of paradise, zz plant, baby rubber plant, spider plant, and snake plant. I also have a lot of philodendron and pothos but it’s open to getting more. - I’m fine with easy and medium care difficulties Ana’s long as I don’t have to water them more than once a week. - I love leafy plants but I’m open to getting different varieties (like my ponytail psalm in the photo) - I have trouble taking care of plants that can easily loose leaves - The weather is sunny it gets light direct light for about 6 hours and indirect light for 6. It is a little windy but not too bad. - Lastly I’m looking for plants around the size range of 4-10 inch pots but I’m also looking for 1-2 larger plants for my large pot stands. If you reply thank you for the help!!!

For a medium/large plant, i recommend tradescantia. It's super easy and has a nice bold purple color. For a small plant, perhaps a hoya or syngonium?

How fun! A blank canvas to work with!

I think for the bigger plant a monstera deliciousa! Maybe buy a smaller one to start but those plants will grow bigger!

Every balcony needs some sort of Jade plant.😍 A nice corn plant or fiddle leaf could work for some height.

If you don't have a Monstera then that is the 1st plant to get. All kinds of dracaenas are pretty. And palms would look nice. Then get some succulents for small plants

Sounds like you need some jungle cacti! They don’t need water often, are good with part sun, and don’t have the prickles the name implies. 😁 Will you be moving these plants indoors for winter?

I’ll look into the cacti. I’m not sure about moving them in. I’ll see if it gets rainy or cold but it’s generally pretty warm where I live. There is a roof coving the majority of the balcony too.
