I have a baby Monstera that I’ve had for a few months now, but it hasn’t produced any new leaves. It produced one leaf then an old leaf died. It’s been with two leaves for several months now. I fertilize it once a month. The roots are very healthy (I use clear pots so I can see the roots). It receives bright indirect light. Does it need more light? Should I move it closer to the window?

Maybe it’s time for a bigger pot? I’ve had success with nutrient-rich soil and if it has more space, it’ll likely get more limbs. That’s a beauty!

It looks like it might be stretching to reach the light, a little closer to a window probably wouldn’t hurt!

Mine took a year before it started producing new growth. Now it’s HUGE
