Hello everyone, I got my aloe plant Rupert March 1st 2025 and since then he has grown quite a bit but I'm a bit confused if he is doing well or not. Months back, he had two leaves which were brown and dry so I cut them but they have not grown back nor healed. Some of his leaves feel a tad soft as well. Two of his leaves are creasing on the bottom and seem a bit weak. If anyone who knows what their doing when it comes to aloes could give any opinions or advice for Rupert that would be great 🌼

    Is the soil dry? A watering usually helps the leaves firm up.

      Yes, but it doesn't seem to dry. There seems to be slight moisture in the soil on top.

    It's not getting enough light. They tend to flop like that when the light is insufficient. You either need a stronger grow light or they will do good directly in a south or west facing window.

      I want to add that root rot is always a possibility too so repotting to check the roots isn't a bad idea.
