Hi everyone this is Mimmy my 2 yr old Mimosa. Just today I put her into my group. After setting it all up I was surprised to see that they are Toxic to Humans and animals. So no touching with bare hand I guess. Also it says partial shade and sun. I was told it was full sun. This time last year it was half the size it is now. It’s been growing very quickly. I guess it’s ok to leave it there.

    It’s a resilient plant. The seeds easily root in the lawn. I have one I cut down to flat ground last year. It’s already 8ft again. It survived 6 days of snow. Nothing will happen to it.

    I’m no expert, but I believe the toxicity is just if ingested, so you will be OK if you touch it.
