I’m wanting to repot this part of my Monstera BUT I’m scared I will hurt/damage the plant. I’ve had him for a long time but when I got him I just let him do his thing. And he was everywhere. Now I want him to thrive. Except I’m not sure how to go about making that happen if I start cutting on him. Please help me if not he’s just going to stay like this because I don’t want him to die. Thank you for all you’re helping in advance. Please ignore all the junk under him. The only good thing about I’m hanging over is he kind of hides all the junk lol

I would cut the dangling vines. Cut to get one leaf node per cutting. Those can be propagated in soil or water. Water propagation makes it easier to see the root growth. Fertilize when the roots emerge. You have plenty to put several in a pot like the current mother plant. You can also sell the cuttings since the mother plant looks so healthy. It should be easier to sell locally on local apps like OfferUp and Facebook Marketplace. I would put a photo in the advertisement of the mother plant from the rim upwards (blocking the mess😁) to show how healthy she is. 🪴🍀

Don’t cut too close to the node. I usually cut halfway between the nodes.
