    I could be wrong, but I believe you have new leaves on the way. Most of my Hoyas send out these stems. When they get something to hold on to, it usually fills out with leaves. Love Hoyas! I have to watch one I have in the windows cause she’ll send these out and they will wrap around neighboring plants!

      Thank you! I much prefer leaves to flowers 😂 I’ll give it a stake to climb.

    It’s a new growth for a vine. It’s a good sign. It will eventually put out full size leaves if there is sufficient light. It will keep growing with no leaves or tiny leaves if it’s looking for more light.
