Hey plant friends , I received these cuttings recently and place them in some mason jars to get the roots going . I placed them in sun light but looks like I placed them to close into the sun . Any recommendations? Should I trim them off? I already move them further out of the sun

Aesthetically, I would trim them off. Maybe not the last photo. It will help encourage new growth as well. But it comes down to how you feel about it really. I can only handle nasty looking leaves for so long and then, snip snip. 😁

Yes, the whole leaf down to the bottom of the stem. You might want to disinfect your snipers with alcohol first, so nothing gets passed around.

Propagations and starter plants/seedlings should not be placed in direct sunlight. Bright light is easier on them. It does look like sunburn on the larger leaves. The third photo look like overwatering, irregular watering or stress from a new environment. It’s fine to cut the damaged leaves since there are sufficient remaining for photosynthesis. 🪴🍀

Oh no ! You can get thrips from outside ? I didn’t see nothing on them when I looked , I’m new to this so I don’t even know how they get to the plant

I’m only guessing since I can’t see them in person but check the under neath of the leaves for small almost translucent larva and kill them then using need oil and peppermint oil to spray it every 10 days would say would help. But again do your research cause I can’t see them in person lol
