My mom’s decades-old golden pothos. Is it even worth trying to divide it into several pots or should we just repot it it all together?

I would probably keep the base together to keep the fullness (assuming everything looks healthy) and then chop & prop some of the length just to clean up the shape some like a haircut

You’ll probably have to see how the roots are looking to see if you can repot it separately or have to keep it together. I agree with Jneyman that giving it a good haircut and propagating the pieces to turn into a separate plant might be an easy way to keep the mother plant intact while having pieces to turn it into a separate plant or add back into it to make it fuller up top over time. Hope this helps.
