I’ve noticed this sort of milky film on all my propagations this week. Not sure what it means and if it’s normal or not, and if I need to change anything. Below is what I’ve been doing -Distilled water, changing Wednesday’s and Saturday’s -few drops of hydrogen peroxide -couple drops of root drops in water Appreciate the help!

It is a mold I’ve had this on my props before sadly if they haven’t been growing roots it mostly means that the prop did not work but if it is growing roots try softly scrubbing it off (I use like a cheap toothbrush I know that’s crazy but it works)

The nodes are slowly growing , I will try the toothbrush. Thanks!

Ok good that means it still is saved (I’m not sure exactly how the mold forms but I know the toothbrush works!) good luck!

it's just algae, it happens to everyone. you can gently wash it off of the stem and replace the water whenever you notice it. might be caused by the root drops, nutrients in the water will feed algae

Its biofilm because theres no flow in the water, usually harmless
