Hello, everyone! 🌿 Fall is approaching quickly, and I’m already thinking about bringing my plants indoors. What’s the best way to make sure I don’t bring any unwanted critters into the house with them? 🪴🐛

Spray them with a fungicide before you bring them in

I always spray down the entire plant and planter with the hose. Try to spray the highest setting the plant can handle and get in between the leaves.

Spray with water then isopropyl alcohol at night before you bring in.

The alcohol won't damage the leaves? I used a Bayer systemic product 2 years ago and some of my plants never recovered.

I use straight 70% isopropyl alcohol and have never had a plant react poorly to it. Even my more sensitive plants like my variegated alocasias are fine. Just keep out of the light until the alcohol dries. It doesn’t take long.
