This is how my zinnia is doing now, I keep it in the sun all day and water it about every day. Any tips on how to keep it healthy and growing?

I just went to a class on zinneas. From my understanding if you cut that stem down, not sure how far but maybe a could nodes, it will grow two new stems and thus giving it more flowers. May want to double check this or where to trim but this is my understanding to make it fuller with more blooms. You can cut that bloom and take it inside for cut flower and keep doing that and you should get more flowers. I had one like that last year and didn’t know that info and it only bloomed once I’m pretty sure.

If you choose not to cut it, you'll want to give it a support. My last zinnias all fell over

Zinnia’s flowers need dead heading (cutting) after they bloom to force the next set of flowers to appear. Cut close to the base of the dead flower’s stem. The plant will produce two new branches at the split where new flowers will emerge. The plant is a bit thin and lanky. Cut off two sections to propagate in water. Place one leaf node under water. Remove all leaves under water to prevent rot and water contamination. Replant the cuttings into the same pot. Fertilize the cuttings when roots emerge. Regularly fertilize the potted plants. Zinnias are susceptible to mold and mildew especially when water sits on the leaves. Avoid wetting the leaves while watering. Never mist. Use a commercial fungicide when (not if😁) mold appears on the leaves. 🪴🍀
