Today is my 10th birthday we were supposed to go to the plant shop that we usually go to, but it’s closed so we’re going tomorrow on Friday and I’m hoping to get a cactus. Can I have some name recommendations, please?

JoycitaHappy birthday! Cuddly cactus is one of my favorites. Opuntia cactus is really cute too. Particularly Bunny ear cactus are adorable but be warned, they look soft but are very prickly! I recommend wearing gloves if handling.

SunnyHappy Birthday!🎉 Try growing orchid cactus. They are many varieties. They are also call jungle cactus, tree climbing cactus. Some only bloom at night called night blooming cereus, epiphyllum oxypetalum, which is the variety I’ve had for over 20 years. It blooms white flowers at night several times each summer. See the white flower in the photo.
