It’s so cute 🥹 it will eventually put out some small white roots. I would hold off until those pop out. Then you just trim it from the vine and place the roots in a tiny glass of water. Keep it in a nice warm spot. And once the roots are 2 to 3 inches long, you can put it up into a small pot of soil. 💚

You can start it in a new pot before you cut it off the mother plant. Fill a pot with potting mix. Make sure the pot has drainage. Lay the spider pup on to of the soil and secure it loosely with a hairpin. The U shaped hairpins work best. It can stay attached to the mother until it grows a good root system.

0 likesI just cut mine from the mother plant and stick a bunch of them in a jar of water with the bottoms of the plants in the water and the roots just takeoff like crazy.
