This amazing rubber plant (RUBERT IS HIS NAME) arrived in excellent condition from an Amazon seller. I was worried about the white spots on the leaves and I asked Planta AI and they said it’s a normal part of the plant. It’s calcium storage in the leaves. That’s pretty good information!

a lot of plants do this! it's mineral deposits from tap water. you can usually wipe them off with a damp cloth, it's not going to be used by the plant if it's already sitting on the leaves like that

좋아요 1개 Oh yeah. That’s absolutely my policy too. I try so hard and so many of them come to me from a crappy little store like Walmart, looking gorgeous, gorgeous, and then gradually decline until they die! And I really try so hard.
