This amazing rubber plant (RUBERT IS HIS NAME) arrived in excellent condition from an Amazon seller. I was worried about the white spots on the leaves and I asked Planta AI and they said it’s a normal part of the plant. It’s calcium storage in the leaves. That’s pretty good information!
Hey i have the same one. But you’re looks fuller.

a lot of plants do this! it's mineral deposits from tap water. you can usually wipe them off with a damp cloth, it's not going to be used by the plant if it's already sitting on the leaves like that

it’s dried water lol
0 likes No not the dried water. The little white dots are calcium. All the rubber plants have it.

0 likesGood to know about the white spots - I have them too! And mine came in the mail looking just like yours. His name is MAC and he needs a new house and a haircut, but here’s how it’s going 😊
How tall is he?

Yeah, the white spots don't mean anything, but I think it adds a nice look to the plant!

I got one of these last week! Rubert is a cool name lol … I have decided not to name any plants until they make it an entire season with me
1 like Oh yeah. That’s absolutely my policy too. I try so hard and so many of them come to me from a crappy little store like Walmart, looking gorgeous, gorgeous, and then gradually decline until they die! And I really try so hard.
