Hello everyone in need of advice. I'm trying to teach my kids how flower are grown. We planted Purple Coneflower today; how often should we water the pots ?

With seedlings, you can wait until you see the tiny buds of the plant to water. So keep the set up exactly as you have it with the plastic cover (humidity is a must) and then when you start to see growth, you’ll want to keep the soil consistently moist but not wet. A good way to do this with seedlings is to bottom water. Place the containers in a bowl of water and let the soil soak it up. Take it out of the water when you notice the top of the soil is moist. Bottom watering with seedlings is important because the pressure from top watering is too much and can damage the tiny growth.

Also, from the looks of the picture, this is likely not enough light. You’ll get some growth but too little light means a leggy plant. Try to place in a southern facing window (if you’re in the US)
