Vivian’s plants

I have this purple inchworm that use to grow Purple flowers and now I’m not sure what to do with it. It looks so unhappy now. I brought it outside yesterday on my patio. I liked her so much I named her Iris and one point sang you are my sunshine to it

Looks like a combination of watering and lighting issues. Inconsistent watering - This can cause the distance between the leaf nodes to vary. The distance between the nodes are small when the plant gets sufficient water. The gaps are bigger when the plant seeks water (or light). Also, several vines are wrinkled and drying. Insufficient light can cause the similar look in the plant. They need at least 8 hours of very bright indirect light for this variety of tradescantia. I recommend pruning and propagating the healthy sections.

Thanks so much for helping. Will keep it outside on my patio now with the warmer weather.

I have no useful advice, but wanted to share that I spent several minutes scouring the photos for a purple inchworm, expecting to find a cute little bug.

Sorry I wish it’s just what type of plant my phone keeps telling me it is.

No need to be sorry! I just thought it was a funny mixup. Hope you’re able to get your plant happy again!

There was this snail that use to be on the baby bell pepper plant. Not sure where it went.

I love it when snails climb up into my pots. I just know it took them so much time and effort to get there 😭

It’s a Tradescantia Zebrina. Inch plant is a common name for tradescantias, in general.
