I’m new to fertilizing my houseplants and am curious what other people do. This plant food has directions for every-time watering or a stronger “recipe” for twice a month feeding. Have you all had more success one way or the other? This is my first water cycle of feeding all my plants, so I haven’t seen positive or negative responses yet. I did the seven drops, but I’m wondering if I should go stronger. Would this be a shock to plants that have been on a water only diet?

I haven't used this one, though i do use their cactus/succulent one. I don't fertilize every watering. But I do fertilize regularly and year round.

Schultz is a good brand. I'm not sure one method is better than the other but I would lean towards lighter feeding every time you water during the growing season. During the cooler low light season some plants you don't have to fertilize at all and should not fertilize at all. It really depends on the plant.

I give a tiny bit every water. So in practice I make a gallon of properly mixed fertilizer and then separate that into quarts and fill those with water to dilute. I have accidentally over fertilized so I go with “less is more” with houseplants ESPECIALLY if I used soil that already has fertilizer in it
