I am moving to another state. What is the best way to transport my plants? I am thinking of shipping them via FedEx so they will not be on the truck for too long. Any suggestions??

I have 4 plants, and the moving company stated 7-9 days.

I would not use the moving company, as sometimes they will keep your stuff for much longer than they estimate. I actually never moved my large collection of plants without having to carefully drive them myself. So I’m here to follow this thread, hoping that maybe someone can have a really good definite answer for you (and hopefully good advice for the move in my future).

PlantingsherryI have been wondering the same thing as I’m considering an out of state move at the end of this year. I’m thinking about just putting them all in boxes without tops and keeping them in the car and suitcases in the trailer behind.

KJI prefer to move my plants in the car with me and not on a truck. I use a couple clear storage bins without the lids to keep them upright and packed together. They’re the last thing in the car and the first thing out of it to help limit drastic temperature issues.

I have 4 plants (Peace Lily, Rubber Plant, 2 Flamingos, one of the flamingos has several flowers bloomed) and they are medium height 3 are in 10 in pots and one is in a 12 inch pot. I will not be driving. My car will be transported on a truck, I don’t know how my car will be positioned on the transport truck. It will be on an outside transport truck. I am thinking I am just going to send them via FedEx. Thanks for suggestions.
