    I love pony tail palms but mine was in the ground in front of my house

    Neglect! They store water in that thick trunk. They like a pretty tight pot (maybe an inch margin between plant and pot edge) and can go very long between watering. Also those leaves accumulate dust so give it a shower a couple times per year

    Slowly acclimate to sunny spot they eventually like full morning sun
