Bushsteak Tomato, Jalapeño, Ever bearing strawberry, and in the back I have marigolds, dahlias, dill, and Mint And I’ve just begun cantaloupe, lettuce, (another Roma tomato cause all of my first ones died), cayenne Pepper, and Nasturtiums. The garden this year is gonna be popping with color! My first steps to the homestead I’m working towards! Any suggestions and gardening tips in the comments is always appreciated! Also let me know what you guys are growing this year!

    Love! This is my first year and first real attempt at an outdoor garden. Trying green beans, sugar peas, heirloom and acid free cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, lavender, dill, cilantro and rosemary 🤞

    Can I ask what kind of set up you have? i’m brand new to all of this and that looks really cool!!!

      So I have a wire rack in my room with 3 6x12, and 1 5x5 cell trays for my starters, with 3 grow lights daisy chained together connected to a smart plug so the lights turn on at 6am and off at 6pm. But I started with 1 5x5 tray and 1 grow light. When the plants get around 3-4 inches tall I pot them up (using water bottles I cut the tops off of) and start weaning them outside, after about a week of weaning them they should be okay to put in the ground. I started in mid March-ish, and this was my garden about 2 weeks ago. I’m already getting cucumbers, strawberries and the first harvest of tomatos

      neat! i’ll definitely have to downsize that and find a way to accommodate an apartment with a balcony only but it’s good to know where to start!
