happysoxdonkeyThat is a Calathea. When you water them, make sure to use distilled water or filtered water can sometimes work. You can also buy fish tank conditioner and add a few drops to water when you water them.

These plants like bright indirect light and they love humidity and moist but not wet soil. They can be a bit finicky. Drench the soil and let it drain and water again every 5 -6 days. But don't let them sit in water. I have mine on a humidity tray
