Hey! Christmas is coming up very soon, and I was wondering what plant I should get my friend. She’s a first-time plant raiser, and currently has a cactus. She doesn’t really have much sunlight from her window, and probably wants a low-maintenance plant. Her favorite plant to get would be roses, but the mini roses require too much sun… Any suggestions to help me out? Thanks in advance!
Id recommend pothos and zz plants, they offer leafyness and low maintenance without the need for a lot of light and care. Most flowering plants like Hoyas and the rest need lots of light.

I have gifted a similar friend a snake plant from easy plant-self watering and low light. It has changed her attitude about keeping plants!

I would gift a mini grow light pack of 3 for small plants to help out her succulent especially if its dim, and for any others that need a boost. I like the pothos, zz and snake plant ideas as well. Ooo better yet, rereading about the roses part if she likes flowering plants maybe an African violet. They enjoy indirect light, too :))
