Gardner Jo

I received this beautiful blue enchantress hydrangea for my grandmothers funeral. I am eager to get it in the ground & believe based off my research I have located the optimal flower bed off my back patio. Experts, please share any tips or hacks for planting that will ensure this plant’s successful transfer. Ex: How should I treat my soil? How often do I water?

I haven’t had much luck with hydrangeas because we have deer that eat them so just beware if you have deer in your area that they really love hydrangeas and maybe consider a deer repellent spray. My husband has been nursing mind back and hydrangea for (plus the deer spray) has been very helpful.
