I put this golden pothos cutting in soil for the first time about a month ago, and it’s been growing roots like CRAZY… including out of one of the drainage holes! I don’t think it’s root-bound enough to need a bigger pot, but I’m wondering if there’s any harm in just letting the root grow like this? Would it be better to cut this root off completely?

You could also “repot” it in the same pot and just tuck the root in

      +1 for this option.

It's not a real critical decision. You can either cut it off, tuck it in or leave it as it is.
