Prayer plants (marantas) are great and have similar care to pothos’! I love my zz plants and they are low maintenance, and a lot of dracaena varieties are pretty hardy and low maintenance!
2 Me gustaIf you like pothos you might like philodendrons! I have also found my snake plants, diffenbachia seguine, diffenbachia camille, and pepperomia frost to be easy going.
1 me gustaChinese evergreens have so many varieties and are really low maintenance and low pests usually too
3 Me gustaCacti are pretty easy to care for, I’ve had mine for a few years and he’s been doing fine
1 me gustaDefinitely try out a philodendron.
2 Me gustaZz (the easiest), Chinese evergreen, Scindapsus, tradescantia. Peperomia as well, especially obtusifolia. For philodendrons consider something like an Imperial Green or Jungle Boogie if you want a bigger footprint (they tend to splay out with big leaves) or a heart leaf philodendron if you’d like a trailing plant. You could also go for more pothos varieties: neon for bright color, manjula(💗💗) for pretty variegation, or cebu blue if you’d like a different leaf shape. On the maranta/prayer plant: I agree they can be fantastic with similar care to a pothos depending on conditions, but they can also be really hard if unhappy. Best for a humid area with good lighting like a bathroom window. I would also keep them in a separate room from your other plants for at least the first couple weeks because spider mites LOVE them. Gorgeous, low maintenance in good conditions, but really dramatic if they don’t have what they want.
1 me gustaI love my fishbone cactus! It’s been so easy to care for and thrives in my east facing window. I love watching it sprout up and grow.
