Did you all use neem oil / spray on your house plants to prevent pest ? I also saw something about putting hydrogen peroxide in water when watering the soil to kill pests . Does anyone of this actually work ?

I’ve found insecticidal soap to be the better preventative than neem oil alone. As for the peroxide, that’s better used for killing fungus gnats in the soil and killing lingering bacteria after treating a plant for root rot. Peroxide really comes in handy for treating root rot, but it’s more effective for that than it is for killing any pests. I use Bonide’s Insecticidal Soap when I bring a new plant into my house, spray the leaves and let it sit, then use some microfiber gloves to spread the soap over the leaves, then set it somewhere to quarantine away from my other plants for a month. It can help make the leaves shine on some plants, but the trick is to check if your plant can handle having the leaves cleaned or not.

I use neem oil and peroxide preventatively. Started doing this after I lost a few plants to infestations. Haven't seen much pests since, except the occasional gnats.

I’ve damaged a few succulents using neem oil. I use insecticidal soap and add Bonide systemic to the soil. Same as Adrian.
