Fish tank works great in our house 😂

For real though, other than a humidifier or fish tank, there's several ways to increase humidity in your home. You can open your windows when it's humid outside (like after it rains), boiling water, hanging laundry to dry, leaving dishes out to dry, opening the bathroom door when you shower, and I'm sure I'm forgetting more. Plants also increase humidity when grouped, so just moving them closer together can help!

I put a large pot (crab boil pot) of water on the stove on the lowest flame in winter when the air is dry because of the heater. It provides much relief for the family, plants and the dogs. I have two dogs who have sinus issues when the humidity is too low. Most of my plants are in the kitchen/family room areas. They benefit the most being the closest to the pot. I would buy a humidifier if I kept plants elsewhere in the house. It’s adjustable.

My Mom always used empty cans (like from beans or tomato sauce etc) that were filled with water and placed over the registers in each room. I use the same method in my home and it does make a difference!

Grouping plants together increases humidity. Also pebble trays with water

I like using diffusers. Not as big as humidifiers. I can set to specific length of times. I usually use 1 or 2 diffusers per grouping of plants depending on number of plants

Forgive me diffusers? As in the kind you can use with essential oils? Sorry I'm a newbie.

Buy yourself a hygrometer (very cheap on amazon) so you can keep track of your % humidity in a room. High humidity plants want to be in the 60%+ range or else their leaves will crisp up from being too dry

If you do buy a humidifier, I fully recommend this one, it’s brand is Bear, you can find it on Amazon. It has worked very well increasing the humidity here with a very gentle cool mist.
