Whenever I get a new leaf on my alocasia silver dragon, the other dies.. am I doing something wrong?

It’s most likely due to the lack of nutrients, it’s simple, just fertilize or else it will just keep sacrificing older leaves to make new growth.

0개 좋아요Most alocatias tend to do that. I have a dragon scale, and it’s been acting up lately. I guess I should be paying more attention and showing it a bit more love.
0개 좋아요I have heard that some forms of juvenile alocasia tend to have 1-3 leaves, routinely growing a new leaf and dropping an old one until mature. I’m not sure if it’s been proven but thought it could help! Otherwise increasing the frequency of feeding/fertilising :)
