Has anyone used the glass or plastic auto plant waterers, the ones where you pour water into the reservoir and then it slowly leaks into the soil through a long tube with a little hole in the bottom of it? I used some years ago with a big Pothos and I didn’t have any problems. But now that I understand how fragile plants can be to overwatering, I’m a little concerned. Just thought I’d ask those out there with more experience if they use these things and if they are successful. TXS

I would treat it similar to a tray of water used for bottom watering. You leave the pot in the tray of water and remove the pot when the soil is wet on top. You can use this to slowly add water to the soil, then, remove the tool when the top soil is wet. You should not keep water in this every day or you can overwater.
