I’m not an expert but I planted some cucumbers for the first time in April and it’s now producing so many cucumbers. Just have good draining soil and some good waters (cucumbers love water). Also fertilizer is good once it’s a mature plant.

Your going to want to buy a 50 gallon grow bag if you have the space for it I recommend it, smaller can work but bigger is less to fertilize, good water retention while shedding all excess if your soil is good. If you’re working with native soil and it’s a bit clay add peat. If you got sandy soil add compost and perlite. The best mix I’ve found is home dug clay, mixed with peat at about 2 parts clay 1 part peat. Then mix in some compost for microbiome activity and perlite for extra drainage, the compost and perlite are a minor addition maybe less than 25% of the total mix. Add that to your grow bag of whichever size you can afford and fit. Lastly add a trellis, so cucumber has space to let its vines run loose 😄 Happy Planting, Good luck!
