How do you handle big plants planters? I usually keep mine plants in nursery pots and place them inside decorative pots. I find it much easier to water that way because of the better drainage and then if I have to move a plant somewhere because I bought another anther having the option to switch pots can be super helpful. But this palm is a bit heavy for me and getting her in and out of the decorative pot is a chore. E bc en if I plant it in the decorative pot with a saucer underneath, I’ll have to remove the water from the saucer so still need to be able to pick her up

Plant dolly with a built in drip tray. Had to bring the is one in from my patio because it was getting fried by midday sun. Recently moved to a new place. My patio went from full shade in the early summer to full sun by fall.

You can use a turkey baster or shop vacuum to remove the excess water. We have a lot of mosquitoes that will leave offsprings in standing water. So, I have to drain the water from the large saucers and outer pots. 🪴🍀

LOL was just going to suggest the same thing :) I use a turkey baster to suction out excess water as well. No need to move heavy plants around with this option :) I tend to top water and then let the soil soak up the water in the tray for a bit and then about 20 mins later, I suction up the excess water
